Basic Pay
- The minimum basic salary is Kshs.
31,020 while the maximum basic slary is Kshs. 41,590 per month.
- Under the 50-60%
pay hike, the minimum basic salary in the last phase (1st July 2016 to
30 June 2017) is Kshs. 48,391. The maximum basic for 2016/2017 is Kshs.
64,880.
The conversion rate for this cadre is 56% as pegged on the 30 June 2013 basic salary.
House Allowance
The house allowance for teachers in
job group K under the Kshs. 9.3 billion offer is Ksh. 16,500 for teachers in Nairobi. The house allowances in other areas are shown below.
