The curtains will be drawn today on the applications for the February replacement given that the dateline is today (10 March 2016).
As per the 2015 adverts, the next advert of the Tsc recruitment 2016 is likely to be made towards late April or early-mid May.
So, what do the applicants want to know? Well, if you are one of those who applied for the 811 vacancies, here is the thing.
You as an applicant have an interest in knowing if you have been shortlisted for an interview or not. You also want to know if others have received any information after application.
Based on the recruitment guidelines, the applicants shall be communicated to via SMS at various stages of recruitment. So such an sms is also a key piece of information that you might as well be interested in getting to know about as an applicant.

As a reminder, here is a summary of the February 2016 replacement in numbers.
- 811 vacancies in total.
- 524 vacancies for primary.
- 287 for post primary.
- Garissa and Wajir County have the highest number of vacancies for secondary schools; each with 40 vacancies.
This is how last year's (2015) replacements were advertised.
24 Feb 2015: This recruitment was meant to replace those who had exited the service between July 2014 to November 2014.
30 April 2015: Another replacement of those who had exited service in April 2015.
July 2015: Another recruitment advert for the exercise targeting 5,000 teachers is made.
23 September 2015: This was replacement of those who exited between 1 may 2015 to 31 June 2015.

Based on the responses, some applicants have today received invitations for interviews scheduled for 14/15 March 2016. Read this,
- " [Name of school withheld by Pesa Mashinani] high school invites you for an interview scheduled for Tuesday 15.03.2016 as from 9am in the following subject combinations Hist/CRE, BIo/Agric. NB: Congratulations for graduating between 2012 and 2015. Dor any questions call 0722..." [Number withheld by Pesa Mashinani].
So what is being observed here is that it is the schools (for the case of secondary schools) that are sending the interview invitations.

Well, a good number of the applicants have today attended interviews in Bungoma County.
