The pupil teacher ratio is the parameter that shows how good or bad the situation is in a given county.

The pupils to teacher ratio is the number of pupils being handle by one teacher. Let us look at what the data says.

Interpreting the data
Using Turkana as an example, the pupil teacher ratio is 101.3. This means that one teacher who has been employed by TSC handles 101 pupils per class per session. Therefore, a teacher who teaches four lessons per day in Turkana handles 405 pupils per day. This translates to a total of 2,025 pupils per week.

Rounding Figure
The data is based on the education statistics from the Ministry of Education for 2014. The report for 2015 is not yet out. The 2015 report will be out in late 2016.

To approximate the pupil teacher ratio as at now, add 10(ten) to the figure indicated in the above pupil-teacher ratio figures.
