This is an update following the release of the shortlist of applicants for the Beyond zero/ Word Bank scholarship for a certificate in Community Health Nursing.
The shortlist of the KMTC KUCCPS selected students who are supposed to join the college in March is NOT yet out. Please note that the KUCCPS selected students for some courses such as Medical Imaging, Medical records etc were admitted late last year.
Now, here, the word “Shortlist” can be confusing because already the KUCCPS selected students already know about their status. However, the list that is being awaited for is from KMTC. It is a list showing the specific campuses where each of the KUCCPS will be enrolled in.
The intake will be done in March 2016. *March is now less than two weeks away.
The list that is being awaited is for those shortlisted for the following courses.
- Diploma in pharmacy (A very good course).
- Diploma in community health (This is a very marketable course).
- Diploma in dental technology.
- Diploma in registered nursing, optometry and nutrition.
Beyond Zero Scholarship
The shortlist of the Beyond zero scholarship towards a certificate in community health nursing is out.
Below is a brief analysis of the shortlist.
In Tana River, a high number of the successful candidates are from Tana Delta. Very few from Bura, Hola, Madogo and Galole.
In Lamu, a high number of candidates came from Lamu East.
In Garissa, the majority came from Garissa Town. There was no candidate from Fafi, Saka, Hulugho and Mbalambala. There are applicants from Dujis, Lagdera, Dadaab.
