How to Fill IEBC Application Form

The application form needs to be filled with sobriety. Fill the form slowly. The form is too wide.

Read before you tick yes or no. You can use a pencil first to mark the form before following through using a pen.

 Let's look at how to fill the form

The form has 9 sections that requires the applicant to fill.

 Of all the sections,  section 7 (VII) might prove to be tricky if the applicant is not careful.

 Section 7 is called,  "Character."

 This is how to handle section 7.

  1. Tick "No" for the first question if you have never been convicted of any crime.
  2. Tick "No" for the second question if you have never been dismissed from employment.
  3. Tick "No" for question 3a. Tick "No" for question 3b. Tick "No"  for question 3c. Tick "No"  for question 3d.
  4. Tick "No" for question 4a. Tick "No" for question 4b. Tick "No"  for question 4c.
  5. QUESTION 5 is an elephant for those who HAVE NOT PAID HELB LOAN.
  6. Tick "No"  for question 6.
  7. Write the words,  "Not Applicable" for question 7. Or,  just cross a line (A short line).
  8. Tick "No" for question 8.
  9. Tick "Yes"  for question 9.




Once the form is filled, enclose it inside an envelope. On top of the envelope,  write the following;

 *Specify the name of the IEBC Constituency or Regional Office.

 *It is important to specify your County Assembly Ward. This will lower the competition and raise your chances of getting the job since you will compete only with applicants from your own ward.

1. When is the Application Dateline?
Answer: The application dateline is 15 January 2016.

2. Is the IEBC application accompanied by other documents such as application letter,  CV etc?

 Answer: If you read the application form under section 10 (x),  it is written,  "If you are invited for interview, bring originals of your testimonials." That statement is clear. The statement shows that it is anticipated that the applicant attaches copies during the application.

 The application form should be attached AT THE FRONT of the copies of testimonials. DO NOT PUT the TESTIMONIALS or ANYTHING like a letter or CV infront of the application form. Copies of testimonials and CV should be attached behind the filled application form. An application letter is not necessary.

 **The application form handles nearly everything and so it is advisable for the CV to be only ONE PAGE. It is NOT mandatory to include the CV.
