Deputy County Commissioner II (Job Group P)
The minimum basic salary is Kshs. 77,527 while the maximum basic salary is Kshs. 103,894 per month.
Allowances
The hardship allowance for deputy county commissioner I and II are Kshs. 31,500 and 27,300 respectively. The allowance is payable per month.
The house allowances for deputy commissioner I and II are the same in all the area clusters. In Nairobi the house allowance is Kshs. 45,000 per month. In Malindi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Kilifi, Lamu, Kwale, the house allowance is Kshs. 28,000 per month. In Kakamega, Eldoret, Kericho, Garissa, Kisii, Embu, Nanyuki, Nakuru, Turkana (Lodwar) and Nyeri, the house allowance is Kshs. 21,000. In all other areas that have not been stated, the house allowance is Kshs. 16,800.
