ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The following are the requirements for one to be recruited into the police.

An applicant shall be a person who:
  1. Is a citizen of Kenya;
  2. Holds a Kenya National Identity Card;
  3. Possesses a minimum qualification of ‘D+’ (Plus) in the Kenya Certificate of  Secondary Education (KCSE) examination or its equivalent from an examination body recognized in Kenya with a ‘D+’ (Plus) in either English or Kiswahili languages;
  4. Is aged between 18 and 28 years;
  5. Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;
  6. Is physically and medically fit;
  7. Has no criminal record or pending criminal charges;
  8. Female applicants must NOT be pregnant at recruitment and during the ENTIRE training period.
Note
1. Result slips shall not be accepted.
2. An applicant who:
a) Canvasses directly or indirectly;
b) Willfully presents false academic certificates and testimonials;
c) Engages in any corrupt activity;
Shall be disqualified and in the case of (b) and (c) in addition be arrested and prosecuted.

How to apply
  1. All applicants must complete the prescribed application form. Download the Application form here.
  2. All applications must be submitted in duplicate, accompanied with the following documents:
Recruitment Date
 The recruitment will be done on a single day (i.e. 4th April 2016). The applicants must arrive at the recruitment centres before 8:00am. The recruitment centre shall close at 8:00am and the exercise shall immediately begin.

The applicant must carry with them the dully filled application form (Fill in duplicate).
